RCC

Quality and safety

Standards that protect people and pavement performance.

RCC treats quality, safety, and environmental control as part of the method statement, not a separate brochure.

Quality

Incoming materials are checked against the specified grading and cleanliness. Layer thickness, compaction, and surface regularity are verified before the next activity starts. Non-conforming work is held, recorded, and corrected.

Safety

Excavation, haulage, and road works are planned with access control, plant exclusion zones, and crew briefings. Night work, live-traffic interfaces, and deep excavation receive additional controls before plant is mobilised.

Environmental responsibility

Dust suppression, controlled stockpiles, and tidy haul routes reduce impact on neighbouring communities. Surplus material is managed to avoid unnecessary waste and rework.

How we work

  1. 01

    Specify

Agree materials, layer design, testing, and programme constraints before mobilisation.

  2. 02

    Control

Inspect sources, monitor placement, and keep daily records that the next shift can use.

  3. 03

    Close out

Confirm quantities, outstanding defects, and as-built information with the client team.
